Blade Runner font on Tech TV

While I was watching Tech TV the other day they had a small segment where they show you wireless technology calle Road Warriors. Funny thing is Road Warriors was in the same font style as the Blade Runner title, as seen on the front with the invisible line going through it. So seeing that was quite a surprise. And I was talking to a guy in Future Shop who was asking me what movies I recomend. Naturally I say Blade Runner and he instantly recognized it as a classic. So Blade Runner is known, subltly but its there.

yes, i also saw the font on a bumper sticker for some auto shop or something, and i saw it on someons shirt (sports shirt) last week. seems like a popular font, but i wonder if they even recognize the movie.

Here in Bogota, there was a car brakes repair shop by the name "Frenos Lucita" displayed in the BR Movie Font, yellow background, blue letters. Always made me smile when passing by. Couldn't imagine a spinner in there.
