Just a quick question: Does anyone here have a copy of the book "Spinner Dokuhon"? I saw some images from it and was told it is the reference book for the police spinner.

I just made a CG trade for my own copy!! It's a detailed book with photos and schematics of the spinner. I'm using it to recreate my spinner mesh for a blade runner fan film i'm working on.

For all practicle purposes, it is basically a large collection of images of the Spinner from Studio Scale to the 1:1 production prop. I wish I could read Japanese so that I could tell you more.
It looks like there are a few chapter headings in english though...
- VEHICLES
A Flying Car is Born
Alfa Romeo Spinner
Other Vehicles
One More Kiss Dear
Spinner Collection
Goods Collection
*There is a section on BR web sites*
GAME
Production Photos
Yukon Hotel
Drawing of Spinner
Spinner of image
*There is a paper model of the Tyrell building*
Poster Collection 1 through 8
Audio resources
If you would like to know more on any one of the headings above, lemme know and I will do my best to help.
My copy appears to be bound incorrectly. It starts with page 01, goes to page 76, and then page 44, and counts down to a different version of page 01.
Treybor, is your copy the same way??

Hey, this looks like a very useful and interesting book, but why it's published by Japanese? I 'm interested in getting one myself, where can I find it? ebay?
And I have an idea, maybe we can find someone who knows Japansese and do the translation?
It was published in Japan so it was written in Japanese. I know several people at work that might translate parts of it, but there is a lot of text i the book.

Interesting.
Whats about the Yukon Hotel in there?
are there any drawings of photos of?
if so could you send them all to me for the BR project, please?
Patryk,
There are a couple of photographs of the Yukon Hotel model they used in the film.
I can e-mail you some scanned copies later this week. Probably not until Friday. My grandmother died and I need to spend some time with the family before the funeral.
