Yes, I too have seen it first time when I was 14 and was confused about the plot and Deckard's motives a bit, but from the contemporary point of view I consider the DC to be far better version, MAINLY because of the missing voiceovers - in the original release is everything pretty clear but it misleads the audience to the "only one right" explanation of the movie, which is, IMHO pretty shallow. <BR>DC gives you the opportunity to understand the movie in your own way, find your own personal truth, your answer on the "the Deck-a-rep question". <BR><BR>In the original release, Deckard is obviously human. Many people claim that in the DC he is a rep, but that's not so clear. DC just implies that he might be. Y<BR><BR>That's the strength of the Director's cut.
