Well, it's been almost a year since my last post here, and I've been through quite a time in my life. I'll spare you the sordid details but at last I'm back. I'll try to post at least once a week from now on, hopefully more often than that. I've missed these forums and BladeZone, and of course, "Bladerunner" the movie itself. I think I'll celebrate by watching it tonight, in fact. (Wide-screen theatrical version, of course, heh heh...) Anyhow, greetings again to everybody on these forums, and as always many thanks to the BladeZone staff for all their great work!

_________________
"Quite an experience to live in fear, isn't it? Hi, Rep... Welcome back. Good to hear from ya.
Hey, people... If you've never seen or heard Replicant Dreams' Flash website - do so. Nicely done
Rep.D. - I read the new BR timeline on yer site. Gene-
You're completely right about that. I couldn't remember Holden's first name when I wrote that timeline, so I just made one up. I'm so embarrassed now...

((Hangs head in shame; turning in my Rep-Detect badge...))

Gene-
Okay, my error has been fixed; thanks for the tip! And many humble thanks for the kind words about my Flash website. I hope to update it at least once a month and add to the fiction story quite often (although now it is being written in the form of a screenplay) now that I've returned. The truth, however, is that no website that I can ever make will ever be as comprehensive and high-quality as BladeZone. BladeZone rules!

BLADEZONE is very comprehensive and informative and,well... great.
But IMHO, the first page (after clicking on the faster Spinner) of your site has the best sights & sounds and,well... atmosphere of all the BR sites I've seen * Tosses yer Rep.Detect Badge back to you saying,"We need you, man. We need yer magic. If yer not Cop, you're Little People. No choice, pal." *
Hi again, all, and thanks as always for the kind words. I'm teaching college now, so I'm learning that teachers don't have a lot of free time, but I still plan on posting here as often as time will allow. By the way, I got the Director's Cut BR DVD, and, well...

WOWWWWWWW!!!

Welcome back, Nexus6! Glad we're all making our way back to BladeZone. Isn't it just amazing/awe-inspiring that a TWENTY-year old film is still so fresh and relevant in our culture? I honestly have yet to see a sci-fi film since 1982 that can hold a candle to BR. Quite frankly, I don't expect I'll EVER see another sci-fi film that can compete with Bladerunner...

PS - endzem; The link to my flash screen-saver is:
http://www.imagemage.com/ReplicantDreams/index-flash.html

I hope to one day figure out how to actually convert the flash shockwave-file into a real, functional screen-saver, but currently I have no idea how to do that.

[ This Message was edited by: ReplicantDreams on 2002-09-28 01:04 ]

[ This Message was edited by: ReplicantDreams on 2002-09-28 01:04 ]

go to google and do a search on screensaver makers. Im sure you can find one that can make use of .swf files.
