I mean, perhaps he was made same gen as Rachel, but the inconsistancies with the 6th rep theory are laughable. <BR></BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE><!-- BBCode Quote End --><BR><BR>I also find it hard to go one way or another, Ridley Scott confirms it but he didn't write the book so his views are not constant but i was talking to my media teacher (a fellow blade runner and he is a mad alien fan) and he told me that "automatic response" tells that he is but i had a different view:<BR><BR>The automatic response line in the book tell me he is human, i mean we know that replicants have to congure up a simulated response and have a lag more than a human.<BR><BR>There are tons of clues either way for me:<BR><BR>Human: His ability with emotions, The monologue, being a Blade Runner, having a wife, and also loving the idea of having a pet and the pretty damn cool mood organ! <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"><BR><BR>Replicant: His uncanny physical ablity, The unicorn motif, him getting shakes just like Rachel, "What the hell was happening to me?", also Deckard understanding what Gaf meant and i don't think he was thinking about Rachel but about himself and also it is possible that the Tyrell gave Deckard memories so he wouldn't turn cold killer like Leon and the others.<BR><BR>Also being a Paul Verhoeven/Robocop fan i love metaphors in my films that i watch and noticed a few:<BR><BR>Nail in Batty's hands-Jesus metaphor<BR><BR>The shot of the bird flying off-Makes a question in your mind: Do Replicants go to heaven?<BR><BR>PS: God i love these film debates <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif">
