Blade Runner Fans in Ireland

Hello.

I am wondering whether there are any Blade Runner fans on this forum who are currently living in Ireland. I find, like most things of worth, Blade Runner is very overlooked in terms of stated appeal among my peers in Ireland. As Blade Runner is such an important aspect of my life, I would like to share my thoughts etc. with people who reside on this miserable isle.

Looking forward to your responses.

Greetings RobinGoodfellow and welcome to the BR forum! I am not from Ireland but I did have the pleasure of visiting it for the first time last year. I thought it was very beautiful (and not a straight road in the place.) Even if there are no other Irish people here I hope you enjoy all the informative people who are!

Thank you for your reply.

Ireland is horrid country to live in. To visit? ... Granted, perhaps it is a suitable place to spend a limited short period in. May I ask where you visited?

I flew into Dublin airport but the person that I was visiting was near Kilkeel. He also drove us all around to sight see but I couldn't tell you all the names of the places. I preferred to just take it all in rather then memorize too many names. :D

Greetings, RobinGoodfellow. What a coincidence. I too, visited Ireland for the 1st time last December. Dublin, as a matter of fact. My free time abroad was limited and didn't get to see any of the beautiful countryside, but I really appreciated my 2 days in the city.
Since the release of BR the FC was near at that time, I purchased some nice magazines that added to my anticipation of getting the ultimate briefcase on Blu-ray.

Hi, I've lived in Dublin all my life, saw BR on original release in the Adelphi Cinema. Have to say I'm a bit offended by this "horrid place to live" stuff.

hey there J Hailstones :D

i seen the Directors Cut in the Adelphi as part of the irish film festival.

That was back in early 90s I think.I'm living in Dublin myself and I can see

how the OPoster can be a little upset about the place, but really you

could say that about any major city in the world. Anyhow Im sure theres

loads of BR fans in Ireland.
