I know the game and never once did it remind me of Blade Runner.

maybe paradoxical but it is not possible to deny that they have inspired themselves from BR

I've played em all and love them. 'serious gamers' don't have much good to say about them but who cares about that lot?

There is definitely a BR vibe to two or three levels. In 2097 theres the circuit that runs over the rooftops of those skyscrapers, at night, constant rain, neon everywhere and huge blimps overhead.

BINGO. 8)

The '2019 Tokyo' level in timesplitters 2 is most definitely inspired by blade runner - tall buildings, neon signs, police spinners and a very obvious soundtrack...

Maybe I need to pick up Timesplitters 2. I played the demo, looked like a decent game. Reminded me a lot of Goldeneye for N64.

It's by the same team...I'm not that keen on it. I much prefer Killzone.

That really surprised me when the level began. Quite blatant BR influences. But I just couldn't get into the game. (*goes back to playing Halo*)
