What if Deckard VK'd Leon instead of Holden?

What would the point of the photos have been then? Surely if it was in a trial situation then it would be the implant without the photos, not the other way round.<BR><BR>Paul

I may be wrong (and a bit off the original topic!) but I thought Leon's photo's were ones that he had taken. Not pics given to him about his (non-existant) past. They're pictures Leon has taken, like the one of Roy & Zhora that Deckard espers. My guess is that it's Leon's way of preserving his memories after he has passed away. BTW: I think Deckard would've gotten shot just like Holden did.<BR>

I agree - it was demonstrated later in the film that Leon's reactions are quicker than Deckards when Leon knocks Deck's gun from his hand...

Leon has photos because he took the photos, such as the one Deckard examines, of Roy and Zhora relaxing at the apartment. Leon has memories of his own life and no doubt implanted skills programming, but he doesn't have any memories of a mother - that is the point of the Rachael-experiment. Leon knows he is a Replicant.<BR>

because Deckard was recruited in the first plays says alot about his professional tactics. also i have a feeling he would sence what lean was up to and retire him.

if tht were so the storyboard would be changed through 3 quarters of the film due to no leon.
