Anyone like BR82's ending?
In my opinion, it works well. Many people seem to treat the ending as "happy", but it's just as ambiguous as the DC's ending. The only real difference being that Rachael is revealed not having a termination date, making her future uncertain. Will she die in four years? Will she have a longer life? A shorter one?
It offers only a slight glimmer of hope that they might be able to try and start over and make the best of what they have.
So, in my opinion, both endings work well, as they seem to convey the same message.
