Help me pick my alias!

Hello all.

I was hoping some of you might be interested in helping me pick a new name for my electronic music act.

I currently do a one-man electronica show with drum machines, synthesizers and sci-fi- movie samples.

Out of my extreme love for the movie, I have been performing under the monicker, "Decrepitude."

But most of the time people come up to me and say, "what's your name again? Decrepo...decrupa...what is it anyway?!!"

So, I've decided to change my performance alias to something else that is related to BR.

I was going to use Nexus7, but it seems another band has already beaten me to the punch.

Anybody got any clever ideas?

Thanks in advance. ~Mark

replicant is so obvious.....AND so good.

Who was the supposed 6th replicant that was unaccounted for?

I'm just now reading K W Jeter's, "The edge of Human."

Although Nexus 7 is taken, what about just using Nexus 6?

Googling now... Krap! Taken... by a DJ of course.

Looks like Salander 3 is NOT taken. Hmmm....

I'm forgetting what is the significance of Salander 3?

The reason I really liked Nexus 6, 7, 8, etc. is that it implies a new evolution of the music.

Keep it comin folks. I know we can think of something...

the 6th rep unaccounted for was named molly, but due to budget problems, ridley was unable to include her in the movie, but the dialogue from bryant was never changed, so it's suspected that deckard is the 6th replicant.

the salander 3 was the ship that rachael, in the book, lived on most of here life (if i can remember this correctly) which is why she couldnt pass the VK test, because she grew up on the ship away from civilization.

I actually thought of using Salander 3 for my own band, but didn't want to see our name in the press as 'Salamander 3'. Hopefully, it won't happen to you. Anyway, you know what they say:

"You can pick your friends,
and you can pick your alias,
but you can't pick your friend's alias."

I thought her name was "Mary"...also I don't remember the Salander 3 in DADoES, only from the Jeter books. I will garantee it will be misprinted Salamander as well.

It was Animoid Row

You know, back in '82, I read the comic a zillion times before I was ever able to see the movie on video in '83 (actually, it was on 'videodisc' - remember those?)... and my brain has been unable to process that it's 'animoid row', and not 'animal row'. What does the script say, anyway?

Either way, 'Animoid Row' definitely sounds better!
