just watched the OV again, form spike tv. to me, i guess he does say kinship, when you listen closely, and its also in the subtitles. but then again, when roy says "6, 7, go to hell or go to heaven" i never heard deckard say "go to hell"...it was just "go.." and then a yell of roy saying "thats the spirit!" never did i think he sais go to hell, until i saw it with subtitles.

im going to go back and watch the whole thing over with subtitles on.

I was gonna ask just thta, if it apears in the subtitles of anyone's DVD/VHS copy. Thanks (Neither do it appears in mine).

I don't wanna mock anyone, but for the record:

The http://www.filmsite.org/blad.html "reference" author seems to have a more general hearing problem, not limited to the kinship thing.

QUOTE FROM PAGE 3: (...) As he hangs drunkenly over his piano, and doodles a few notes on the piano keys, the same tune that Rachael later plays... (...)

He says that Deckard and Rachel play the same tune in the piano (?WTF?). The kinship thing was totally justified, but this one? Anpther mistery version is what he watched? ...or maybe he hears real bad or he was just as drunk as Deck whe he watched the film.

And about the article, sorry guys, I've been a little busy with other things these days...

its in the spike tv version subtitles, the kinship thing.

if you guys want a pic, ill get a pic. the easiest way would be to get my dads digital camera and take a quick shot of the tv screen, the post it to my website, that is, if you guys want proof.

You know , my hearing isn't brilliant, so though i've never heard the "Kinship" statement, Im watching this topic, I do wonder if "Kinship" was stated if it was not in an Ironic way? could it be possible roy was trying to show Deckard, that they shared similar emotions, I don't know maybe Im just adding to the confussion, but as i said earlier, i don't hear it, not that it means its not there.
On a side note, I hope everyone has a happy new year, and that life treats you all gently.

Because it's a paradox ... Leon at the head of a huge corporation! Not very ... likely.

I hope you didn't think that I thought Leon was Tyrell's boss.
