Found BR "Lost" tidbit

This is actualy nothing earth shattering, but I recently found out about a small secene that got cut out.<BR><BR>When we first see Leon, just before the Interview with Holden he is covered in flies from the sanitaion section he works in. Since it was not ground breaking it was cut out. Is there mention of this in any of the scripts or workprints.<BR><BR>How did I find out, I know the Animal Handeler (now retired from feature films) that dumped the flies on Byron James

I've not heard about that scene before.

I was wondering what out-takes might be included on the new DVD.

Has anyone got a definitive list of 'missing scenes'? I mean scenes that were actually shot but not included in the two official versions of the movie.

The obvious one is the 'hospital' scene.

Then there's the scene outside Taffy's bar with the dancers in the hockey masks.

I do know that the sequence where Deckard returns home in his sedan was cut short - they cut additional shots of Deckard getting out and walking through the car park.

They did shoot Roy crushing Tyrell's head - they used a model of Tyrell's head that 'ejected' it's brain when crushed. I'm not sure if this scene was included in the work print - it's certainly not in any version of the movie I've scene (I haven't seen the work print)

Roy and Leon's phone booth sequence was cut short.

There's an alternative shot of the hades landscape viewed from a roof top.

I've heard rumours that there is an ambulance scene after Gaff's final words on the rooftop and before Deckard returns to his apartment to look for Rachael.

Any others?

I suppose most cuts were just to keep it 'tight', after all that is what editing is all about, but it would be nice to see something that we haven't seen before.

according to future noir that ambulance scene was never shot but theres another scene that was cut out of deckard talking to a cop in a box in animod row and unfortunatly a scene with the asian woman billboard that was supposed to watch leon beating up deckard but it was exposed to white light and i think that there was a scripted scene that was never shot due to time & money constraints it was of sebastian taking roy up to see the "real" tyrell in his cryogenic stasis when roy finds out that the real tyrell is dead he then mops the room with sebastian

doesnt seem like it would make the flavor of the movie tht much more savory as it already is, wow what a sentance lol just kidding but thts interesting.
