Sebastian's Jacket

Since I haven't had the opportunity to pick up and read Future Noir (looks like I'll be waiting a little bit longer now that the extended version is on the way) I never knew that Roy was grasping Sebastian's jacket during the elevator scene until someone mentioned it in another post. When I did a google search I found mention of there being a photo floating around the net that clearly shows this. Does anyone here happen to know where I could find this? Is it in Future Noir?

I never saw it in the film but, yes, it's described in Paul M. Sammon's Future Noir. I wish it wasn't there. It makes the disappearance of J.F. Sebastian more ambiguous.

Yes! I've seen the photo. Let me go get it. Hold on...

Here, look at this page:

No problem.

In the new DC DVD, you can see the jacket for a split second at the bottom of the screen (when Roy is in the elevator).

Just a little something about the caption beneath the pic :
I find it interesting how it seems to be refering to the original script, when Batty was supposed to find the real Tyrell in Cryo-suspension, as he has already killed Tyrell & Sebastian at this point.

*caption* "Batty is about to accomplish what he came back to earth to do in BLADE RUNNER."

Another inconsistency would be that, if this is what the caption refers to, Roy shouldn't be holding the jacket anyway... J.F. was supposed to go with Roy up to the Cryo chamber. Then get killed. :?

And besides... Actually, I don't believe Roy initially came back to kill Tyrell. He was hoping to acquire more life from him.
Not real important... Just thought I'd mention it :)

Good eye. I had noticed that too. Good observations, btw!

Eeeee, I love this film.

Thanks. I'm guessing then, that maybe this photo is from the time of the film's release?? (when film-edits and scripts were as yet to be determined).
These are just the sort of things that make Blade Runner so cool. Love it, too... and these boards. :D
