What would you have done in Deckard's situation?

Wel you know what Deckard ended up doing, running off with Rachael, so what would you have done instead? Would you have shot Racheal? Run off with her like Deckard? I might have retired her instead of living with her because it would be a waste living with an artificial human. But I am not sure.

Depends on the emotional attachment. If you realy love her....or just want to sleep with her... you might decided to run off with her.

I would've run off with Rachael in 1982 (I was eleven), and I still would today.

Even in her 'Catwoman' suit. :P

That was really funny to me for some reason.

Yeah, I probably would've done what Deck did. Same damn thing. If she's going to die anyway, why kill her then and there. I feel like Deck was probaby just, exhausted, spiritually and physically, so he might not've been thinking past the present. She's alive, I don't wanna deal this shit no mo', let's bounce.

wowee, I'm intellectual tonight.

I think the question is not whether Rachael is going to live or if you truely love her
- but if you'd really be willing to leave the perfect flat/apartement behind.
I'd kill for an apartement like Deckard's.

Damn that's cold! Now you're thinking a little to much like a real blade runner. Not one of those compassionate pansies like Deckard.....

Suddenly, Crystal Steele comes up from behind a kipple pile and blows you away with her sawed-off shotgun.

I've come across alot of artificial (superficial) people in my lifetime. Rachael was more genuine and "real" than most people. Although replicants were illegal she posed no threat (potential threats are debatable). Deckard did what was right. (IMHO)

Yeah I kind of regret typing that. Deckard did do the right thing after all. I guess I was in a bad mood when I typed that.

If I loved her, I wouldn't even think twice about running off.

This all sounds very romantic, but what if this was a real life situation?
Imagine you fell in love with an illegal immigrant. She's broken some immigration laws and now marrying her wouldn't help her stay. (Just a scenario but I think I saw something like this on 21 Jump Street.) Would you leave your home, family and friends and run off with her?
