Hello.
Yes I have seen about 6 endings for the game. Which I finished myself. I cant exactly remember how each one went but the most poignant was Clovis reading William Blake poetry in the moonbus alone before he dies in front of my eyes. BR movie potential that scene could have been! (y)

I disagree. The Blake reading comes from the movie, becuse Roy says "Fiery the angels fell...etc", taken from a Blake poem (you find it here at BladeZone), but in order to give us "more of the same" with the game, the Westwood guys flawed Clovis making him speak Blake all along the game.

I think it kinda ruins the individuality of replicants. I mean, if Roy likes poetry, not necessarily all the N6-MAA models are gonna like it, like if their personalities are prefabricated too, and then you`ll find that Clovis or Roy's words wouldn't be of such significance, because every rep could come to say the very same things.

By the way, there are at least 9 endings. Some people say they`re 12.

I agree with you both but
I think the ending where he gets the girl is best

Crackafat you stupid bar-steward. You haven't even got the freaking game. Don't listen to him folks, he attends the same workplace as I do, and jsut wants some freakin attention. He doesn't know what a Nexus-Six is, and he thought Clovis was the chief of the police, and that a moonbus is a bus with a moon painted on the side.

There are 3 modes of endings: groundcar, moonbus and on foot. If you finish with the ground car, you can leave alone, with Lucy, or Dektora. If you finish in the moonbus, you can leave with any combination of the remaining reps still alive. If you finish on foot (in the kipple after retiring the reps) you can leave with Gaff or Crystal. I'm too stoned to total up all the endings but I know that the combination of surviving reps in the moonbus holds the biggest number of possible endings.

[ This Message was edited by: Kiff on 2001-11-26 21:32 ]

Like Kiff said...

There are only six base endings.

I really have no idea where these "12, 13, 15 endings" rumours came from. Perhaps directly from Westwood. In that case, they probably counted in all possible variations of the Moonbus ending.

Please notice that the moonbus ending itself has three variations - it may include short monologue of Lucy OR Dektora (if you haven't killed them before... uhm, I mean "retired", that's it)OR Clovis only.

perhaps the guys in westwood even counted the variation in the car with lucy or dektora or even alone with the element of dna in some cases u have none, some or all of it...

There are six base endings with variations that total up to twelve actual endings. These are listed in the Blade Runner Zone.

I haven't done them all myself. To do so would require far too much time. But at least I know that next time I play the game, I have yet another variation to explore!
