I downloaded a C64 emulator and the BR game - oh dear, not as good as I remember it (no surprise there).
Tried the speccy version too - even worse!
Might dig out my copy of Syndicate (PC)...anyone ever played Syndicate wars on-line? Is it any good?
While I'm on games, has anyone played the Blade Runner/Half-life total conversion? Does it exist or was it never finished?

Good ole C64 will be on the market again? I would like to see that / does that mean that they'll be digging up 15 - 20 years old chematics of microchips and all the stuff...? Won't be that a commercional overkill?

Genet ettix: kool. i re recently moved here, and theres a really old video store here. i thought to my luck that they might have the ORIGINAL BR version VHS, but no luck. they do have the THX1138 though.
about that BR TC for half-life, its a dead project. if you want a blade runner-ish game, i LOVE Deus Ex. they take elements from blade runner, the matrix, and put them in a fururistic game that takes place in 2070 i think. not to futuristic, just like blade runner. try it out, you'll love it.

I have got Deus Ex on the PS2 - I'm about 2/3 way through (I keep leaving it and coming back to it).
I did once find a Japanese site dedicated to 'Blade Runner' type games - I did send the URL out in a Newsletter. I think I'll dig it out and review it...
Shame about the Halflife TC - every time a new FPS with a MOD kit comes out, someone starts a Blade Runner TC but never finishes it (or at least that how it seems to me)...

Deus Ex is slightly different on PC and PS2. From what I've heard something is better on the PC version and other things are better on the PS2 version...
Are you ready for the Invisible War?
