I think with the special edition coming out next year, the game might make somewhat of a come back. <BR> <BR>If Westwood isn't planning on making a sequel, they should at leat re-release it as a special edition with better graphics like they've done with Myst.

i think if they release a special edition at least they should edit a finale in which u can go on with the game after u kill sadik at bradburrys <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">anyway looking forward to the release..

speacial edition ? i havent heard of this, why is it speacial, please someone give me details, also, we need to send westwood loads of emails till they give in an make a sequel <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> , but seriousley a petition may work

They're talking about The Blade Runner Special Edition DVD that is (was) coming in 2002 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film (1982-2002). Not a Special Edition of the Game. It would be nice if they make it, tough, which I doubt.

Anyway, Blade Runner is one of the high rating games. What the heck, I'm also a Westwood fan.

can we get a petition started to make a BR special edition game ? for what its worth, westwood should do it. now we have nice 3d gfx cards, so they can imrpove the graphics, and thats about it. no need for more voices or locations. <BR> <BR>if the petition gets started, if westwood doesnt agree to make one, oh well, no big fuss. BR is still BR, even without the game. <BR> <BR>it would be easy to improve the gfx, this should only take westwood about 4 months with a good crew (the original <IMG SRC="/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif"> ). they have the source code, the models, etc... just make more and better 3d models and add support for better gfx cards, preferably ones under 16 MB.

yeh man lets doit, although i would rather they made a sequel, but either way, they need to add some kinda online play stuff, that would rule
