I'm sure this has been discussed already but anyway, with biotech and cloning advancing the way it is surely within 15 years some one will have figured out how to 'build' a human from cloned parts? Scientists have already figured that stem cells can be coaxed/cultivated into forming into any type of cell desired, scientists must be investigating accelerated growth techniques too. I can easily imaging some underground organisation already secretly cloning organs, body parts and what not, it's a pretty scary thought. Also synthetic parts integrated into humans is not new, hip and joint replacement is as common as coffee... computing power doubles every 4 months or so, robotic surgeons might one day be capable of performing procedures presently unheard of like eye transplants.

As for the spinner, Moller International's working VTOL Skycar is the perfect candidate, their website even says that the vehicle will probably be used by law enforcement and military before the general public.

We also may be on the verge of nailing the Unified Theory that will integrate quantum mechanics and general relativity (and understand and confirm the existance of the elusive graviton?), the results of which may lead to something akin to a second industrial revolution.

Well these are just my thoughts and observations about the world around us and where we might be going... what do you think? :?:

I quite like your article. Very informative
as for the human cloning... well I'm very happy to say that I've heard of these ilusive organizations. I actually remember that not too long ago, there was one guy in the news that admitted to cloning a human. He was probably talking bull though. But I know there are organizations that have cloned sheeps and crown human ears on rats and all that gory stuff.

Spinners, well thats old news. Whether your government allows/accepts these, I dunno. But my government.... Too damn poor.
