Hi all!

I'm new here, a rabid Blade Runner fan, it's my all time favourite movie (trailing behind in the distance is Brazil and 12 Monkeys). I really hope this 3 DVD SE gets released, I've been waiting a long long time for it...

Kris :D

thanks for the welcome! I'm quite fanatical about this classic piece of filmwork, quite simply the best fictional movie ever made... it has influenced and shaped me in many ways too and continues to provide an endless source of heated debate amongst me and my peers. I hope Ridley Scott will revisit the legacy and consider making a sequel or spinoff?

y thanks, yeh the set designs on 12 Monkeys and Brazil were incredible, not half as good as Blade Runner though. For me the BR opening scene flying into LA 2019 is the most powerful piece of filmwork ever devised, continues to send chills down my spine everytime I watch it...

Twelve Monkeys and Brazil? I hope you're not making any connections with them and Blade runner. :?

nope just some of my favourite movies...hmm are there any connections? I've never thought about it to be quite honest... 12 Monkeys = time travel paradox, Brazil = future corporate world gone mad. Nope I don't see any parallels or connections, do you?

Actually I do. All of them are SF classics, which put more importance on their content than on their form.

I'm sure someone here pretty soon will utter the words Dark City and classic SF in one sentence , I'm a right? Like they are all part of that long list of SF classics.
