The demographic make up of LA

I find Ridley Scott's portrayal of Los Angeles being made up of many races and cultures - predominantly Asian - really interesting. My teacher told me that the boundaries between cities and people had become blurred and the Earth was just an urban sprawl. I agree with this, but I was just thinking that there maybe something more sinister behind it.

In LA, we hardly ever see white people. I think that their main reason for staying behind is health problems whereas the Asians were made to stay behind because of the fact they are Asian and 'undesireable.'

My guess would be that, seeing as there are FAR more Asians in the world than Whites, far more Asians would have to be left behind with health problems (simply a matter of percentages)...

There are mush more Asians in the world today than other ethnicities. The fact there are loads of them in BR is merely a logical conclusion. If the world continued to grow in population then there would be many many asians. I imagine the white people are generally richer, so live in the tall skyscrapers or OffWorld. I dont think there would be much racism in such a multicultural society.
