I've found many topics in this forum related to the subject of a sequel. Some were in favor others against.<BR>I'm against a bad sequel but not a good one so let us (fans) write a sequel. What do you think?<BR><BR>I'm sorry for my bad english
Replicants are like any other machine. They can be a benefit or a hazard. If they're a benefit is not my problem.

Nah, we really shouldn't touch a classic. But by all means, don't let me stop you.

wellll i say he can do whatever he wants and if he wants advice like on technical aspects we should give em and i think that if and when he finishes we should take a look at it and decide whether or not its up to snuff if its not send him back for rewrites

Look...if fans are writing the script, it would completely ruin the surprises in the Sequel. I wouldnt touch the Blade Runner story line. I would think Ridley Scott and David Peoples would come together and write the sequel.<BR><BR>Anyway...I wonder if the sequel is really or really not coming.

im not sayin and i dont think ash is either that once the script is finished that we should take it to hollywood it in my mind it was jus somethin interesting to do i dont think this forum needs another emspace or at least someone who stifles the creatiive abilities of another just because they think it'd make blade runner look bad. so ash do what you want i'll help with what i can when i can i unfortunatly am quite busy but if you need technical info either talk to me THX1138 or BenMund or take look at the BR Technical Manual here on the forums

The battle for purism about Blade Runner is lost form the start. I had that attitude long time ago, but wasn't worth it. As far as i'm concerned everyone can write a sequel prequel or whatever they want, as long as all of us have the chioce of not reading it if we don't want to. It is like the unofficial cheap sequel that is around: it is up to you if you watch it or not.<BR><BR>Many are not going to watch / read the sequels or prequels just to save themselves that annoyment. That one you get when you finish a book by Jetter.
