...yeah, really.<BR><BR>And when you consider that there ARE two spinner's in the same scene (not shown in the grab) then I would say that the likeness to the LAPD HQ building is too much of a coincidence.

Well, as it was written on the BRmovie page, it really looks like some kind of payback for the usage of MF and Death Star model in BR.

i just discovered this forum and thought i'd add the one thing i can:<BR><BR>Rick McCallum states on the Phantom Menace DVD that there are references to Blade Runner in that scene - a nod to the Falcon in BR. it's a great DVD regardless of your opinion of the actual film.

my bad. i just checked and it's John Knoll at 1:34:45. the BR police station is on screen for less than a second, and the spinners are tiny. i wish the homage was more overt (or at least noticable).
