Happy 25th, Blade Runner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best movie of all time. Happy 25th birthday!

So, I think the movie is old enough to rent a Spinner now, eh?

Here's to enhancing my life, and ever other Blade Runner fan's life, with just one movie.

I wonder what things will be like when this movie hits 50...

Happy happy, joy joy!

:D

We waited for it at the 20th anniversary. Big let down.

Now it is a sure thing, and the long wait seems worthwhile. Welcome the Final Cut! 25 is a little early to get a facelift, but we couldn't be happier!

a festivus for the rest of us! happy blade runner day!

you know, by watching the new trailer, it's amazing how this movie hasn't aged much. granted that the FX are obsolete, it still holds up over the overly dramatic CGI work of today. other than that, through 25 years time, there hasn't been anything like this film except the mark it's left on other films.

wow, then I will be 45... :-k can't imagine anything with that.
Maybe that future will be a bit like in BR. Would we have real spinners in and above the streets then? And 'real' (more human than human)replicants? Who knows? (sounds scary  )

however:

That's true... John Carpenter's "The THING" (one of my fav movies) was released on the very same day as Blade Runner.
OUTPOST31 is the BladeZone of THING sites. They have a Forum similar to BZ. We can wish IT a happy b-day over there 'cause this is the Forum for BLADE RUNNER :P

1982 film noir comedy; Steve Martin in "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid".
Filmed in B/W and edited with scenes from `40's detective films. Hilarious
82 was a good year.

Yup, 1982 was definitally a great year for movies!

I also think 1984 was pretty good too:
Splash, Gremlins, The Last Starfighter, Electric Dreams, Dune, The Philadelphia Experiment, and a few others I can't think of right now.
