Besides Blade runner, what is the best movies you have seen?<BR><BR>This is my personal list<BR><BR>1. Blade Runner<BR><BR>2. 2001: a space odyssey - Extremely fascinating and thought provoking. Visually outstanding<BR><BR>3. The Shawshank redemption - Magnificent character development and acting makes it very moving<BR><BR>4. Alien - A great story combined with great directing, makes this the most thrilling movie i have seen. Aesthetically carried through.<BR><BR>5. The deer hunter - shows the horrors of war. I'm a film-buff, so I'll do my best to keep my list short.<BR>(1) Bladerunner, all-time favorite, naturally<BR>(2) Aliens<BR>(3) Titanic (major history buff)<BR>(4) Gladiator (major military-history buff too)<BR>(5) Beaches (not really, just seeing if anybody reads this far, hee hee!)

I've gotta add "Pi" to the above lists. Anyone see it? Just great.<BR><BR>(I also just saw "Pitch Black", which has crept it's way into my top 50. Just a cool pic with a great, stark look).<BR><BR>Also, probably one of my favorite non-genre films has got to be "American History X".<BR><BR>
