Need help with Blade Runner vocabulary

As some might have seen from the "interesting places" section, I run a Blade Runner themed game. My website (which can be accessed by clicking on my signature) is slowly growing a database to explain the terms used in Blade Runner that have not (yet) gone into popular culture, for those who don't remember them or haven't seen the movie.

So far I have these:

-Replicant / skin job
-Spinner
-Blaster
-Esper machine
-Voight-Kampff test

I'm looking for stuff from both the movie and the video game, stuff that can be shown with a screenshot is always better, but other useful things would be welcome.

Surely I am missing some. Help?

BRmovie.com has a nice little encyclopedia that can define all these terms quite nicely.

Man...are you in for a treat. I have a Blade Runner "dictionary" currently in the works. Umm...I hope to have it up in a week or two. I'll keep you posted.

Cheers!

Wow. Sound cool. Just a dictionary? Or could you possibly make it a "visual guide"?

Well...it was originally strictly definitions as they pertain to the movie, the book (DADoES) and the Westwood game. The idea of making it an illustrated thing had come into mind. This originally a joint effort with two other BR fans. Long story short...I'm reworking the presentation myself. So...some illustrations will be included. I'm not sure how extensive it will be.

So...the status of it? All definitions are completed (about 125- including names). Just working out the format to present them. My intent is a "wiki"style format.

I'll keep you up to date!

Thanks for the interest and positive vibes.

Cheers!

Alright...screw the "wiki".

I decided to simply post the definitions on the KippleZone website plain and simple. There will be links to other resources/photographs, etc.

(sorry...web designing is not my forte. And the "wiki" didn't look any better than what I am currently doing.)

I'll let you folks know when it is completed.

Cheers!

The wiki's advantage would have been that anyone could have made additions to it, but I guess you've been thorough enough that it wouldn't have been necessary anyway :)

My vote is for a downloadable version with pics...as a BR collector I a have collected the best pics from online I could find for the past few years. Many might need permission to use though even if this is not being used for profit.

Sounds great! Just need an engineer (Graphic Designer) with time to spare to pull it all together.

In the meantime...you can have a taste of what I am offering. It isn't much...but it is a glossary of Blade Runner related terms. UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!

A 2 Z

It's all set folks!

I'm sure I'll either add or modify something over the coming future (As I do with most things.).

Enjoy!
