Question about VHS tape

Hi all.

As you can see, this is my first post. I've been a fan of BR since I saw it during its initial theatrical release. Anyways, I have a question about my VHS tape of the original cut. I have checked on ebay and other places but have not seen any other boxes like this one. The box is white at the top and has blade runner in red. There is a picture in the center of the box (pic from movie poster?) and then the white fades to black at the bottom of the box. This version is the one that includes the extra violence. On the back of the box, it reads running time 119 minutes. But on the actual video tape, it has 122 minutes. Were there different boxes for the video? I wouldn't think this is a bootleg as I purchased it in the early 80s. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight into this tape and the box. The tape is Embassy Home Entertainment.

Thanks in advance!

This isn't a bootleg, it's one of the many official boxes that were released. I used google image search to find a matching description to your box, and it's the one I also saw at a video store, so I have seen this box around. Usually the boxes and tapes say "Approximately 119 minutes" which means they didnt sit down with a stopwatch like some people do and time the movie to the last frame. So it may be an approximate running time, or it may be a misprint, but I really think it's just an approximate.

Yep, that's the one. Thanks for the replys. I can't believe I didn't see any like that on ebay. I guess I just didn't look hard enough.

Have a good one.
