Tell me, if you were responsible for a new BR soundtrack, what songs would you choose. Please don't say that you wouldn't change anything cause I'm interested in seeing new ideas.

I'm not sure what existing songs I would want to keep and which ones I would discard. Imagine if BR had an orchestral score, by someone like John Williams, James Horner or perhaps Alan Silvestri. Wouldn't it be cool if, like Legend, BR had two different soundtracks? The 'contemporary' soundtrack by Vangelis and a 'classical' orchestra score by someone else?

Of course, if BR were being released today, the studio would demand that it have a more mainstream soundtrack with songs done by current popular artists as well as a 'cool' main title track that could be released on the radio.

But enough of my cynical thoughts. Anyone else?--Harry Bryant

Harps of the Anitant temples (or however you spell it). Even though Vaingalis didn't do it, it. would. be. cool. Go on.

Two groups I would recomend to play for a new soundtrack would be Pink Floyd and Radiohead. I say Radiohead because their last couple of albums have had somewhat of an errie, techno/futuristic like sound (plus I really like them).

I firmly think that there has been no half decent stuff made after the 1980's. Bar flim music (which, in the hands of James Horner, John Williams and Jerry Goldsmtih, is just pleaseure on a stick). Here beginngs lots of people saying 'Rubbish!':
