Bladezone Member's Photo album

Here's an idea...(might be kind of far out there). How about having some kind of photo album page for BZ Forum members? As I've mentioned before, I think we have a pretty good community here. After a while, you become familiar with many of the members, and in a way, you kind of get to know them through their posts. I think it will be nice to have a face go with the name. Of coarse, this would be voluntary. Members can submit a picture of themselves and underneath the username (ex. "Endzem") will appear. And if you want, also include your real name. Since it is highly unlikely that we'll ever have some sort of "International BR Convention" were we might meet in person, I think this is the next best thing.

I'm not a web designer, so I don't know how difficult this might be. I also realize that maintaining a site like BZ takes hard work and it's done by individuals who take time from their personal lives to do it; for free. A true labor of love. For this I say THANK YOU!!!

Any comments?...

This has been brought up before. It's a nice idea and it's not difficult to do (it would be me creating and maintaining) but I think most people would prefer not to have images of themselves on the net. Personally, I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to privacy matters so it would be difficult for me to do it.

A lot of the Bladezone team have there photos on the site somewhere (but not me).

You could always use the avatar space for your photo. If you don't know how to do that, let me know and I'll explain it. The members list could be expanded if people wanted it.

You see - this is what happens. You get that same feeling when you see a radio DJ for the first time. They're never how you imagined they would be. :D

But isn't that Roy? No, I'm serious, looks like Roy, at least at that size...

Deckard BR26354 is right about some of us not wanting to show our faces for privacy concerns. In my case, while I'd really like to post my pic, I will certainly not. Sign me in int he paranoid club.

My first idea was it's one of the LOTR hobbits. Maybe the curly hairs confused me.

Some of us might be a tad too ugly to look at....or just so incredibly hansome that it will shame all others to post their images next to that person(s) beautiful face.

Nah, ugly sounds about right.

Okay? How about we all just submit a picture of our elbows then? No harm in having those floating around on the internet.

You know, if I re-apply the negative filter, the original colour is restored - you appear to have a fret-board attached to your face :D
