112 minute version on VHS?

112 minute version on VHS?
Hi there! I found from my closet a VHS version of original BR, PES 70008 which is 112 minutes long (also in reality). It's a Warner Bros release and is not listed in Paul Sammon's book. What is this copy? What are the differences to the normal 116 minute version?

I have the 'Theatrical Cut' as well as the 'DC' on VHS and they are both running 112 minutes, just like the DVD. I don't know why you say 116 minutes.

Maybe different measuring methods?

Ok, all listings in Paul M. Sammon's book (Making of..) say the videos are 116 minutes long. But it must the way that it's measured.

I have OV on VHS, horribly dubbed to Czhech. I suppose it's European theatrical release. the label on tape says it has 112 minutes.

Havent seen the tape for years now. And I still have very foggy picture what are differences between European and US theatrical releases.

The differences between runtimes are probably connected to diferences between NTSF and PAL systems, it's nicely described in the BR FAQ. Im lazy to look for it now. You know where to find it.

Can we commonly agree that the DC has 117 minutes though?

"See more of the future in the year 2019 ... if you dare!" Terrible sales pitch if you ask me.

But 122 minutes? Surely, that's a mistake. Right?
