Has anyone notice this yet?

Something else to notice. In the game, when you go down into Izo's weapons stash below his shop, you'll hear police radio transmissions. They're NOT LAPD radio transmissions, they're NYC. I was a NYC paramedic for 22 years, and I recognized the jargon they used, which is unique to NYC.

Another thing to notice, although there is probably an explanation....<BR><BR>To the best of my knowlege, Roy dies because his 4 years are up. The movie is set November 2019, Roy's incept date was Feburary 2016. Last I checked 16 + 4 was 20.... shouldn't Roy have died in 2020 rather than in 2019 or is this a lapse due to the date the film was set in being changed late in production???<BR><BR>Paul
Paul G . . . <BR>The 4 year life span is probably an approximate number, not exactly 4 years. Feb 2016, to Nov. 2019 is only 3 months short of exactly 4 years, so it's reasonable that Roy's time was up a little early. Some Reps probably last a little longer than 4 years.<BR>That's my guess anyway.--Harry
<BR>"Have a better one."
Remember what Tyrell said to Roy:<BR><BR>"The light that burns twice as bright, lasts half as long and you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy." (That was from memory so might not be totally accurate word for word). <BR><BR>Perhaps Replicants are manufactured with a limited ability to produce their own 'life' energy (somehow linked to their body's metabollic rate) and Roy simply expended most of his potential energy earlier than the projected 4 years in his quest to extend his life...

I don't think Deckard hunts these replicants down in a day. I think in original interviews with Scott, and also Ford, a significant amount of time passes from the original assignment to the death of Roy. Hey, maybe I'm wrong, but this could also be a factor. Deckard's feelings and subsequent relationship with Rachel must have taken some time to develop as well.
Replicants are biological and their enforced "time limit" is probably biologically induced, therefore it won't be exactly 4 years.<BR>Then of course there was the last minute decision to change the movie date from 2020 to 2019 - no need for it to sound like a vision test ...
