Where to find BR Trailers

Query from a fan:

I am a fan of the 1982 Blade Runner film.
Is there a website or file that you can recommend that has the original 1982 theatrical trailer (and for that matter the TV trailers).

When I use Google to enter the title and trailer (in various combinations), I always seem to find the Directors cut trailer on the net.

I can't remember off the top of my head - anyone else able to answer this?

I suppose the original trailer would be VERY hard to find as video file on the net.
For first, it was never transcribed from celluloid to another advanced format, right...

i think the best bet is to try and find one of the movies way back when with a blade runner trailer for the theatres (if this is how it works)

as for the tv ones, shouldnt WB still have a copy somewhere?

Worth a mention...the other day on a NY fm radio show they did a flashback to 1981 and featured some of the audio of the trailer fo BR.

Kipple: you should contact the radio people and ask how they obtained the trailer/trailer audio. ask if its possible to get a copy of the show or the trailers themselves.

Dont know if this is helpful or not but I got hold of the original trailer on video through eBay in the UK. Its on a video release by Warner Bros under the series ''Maverick Directors''. The original trailer is followed by the usual 1992 Directors Cut of BR but, at least in the UK, it sells for peanuts.
