Whether or not Deckard is a replicant (I don't personally think he is, by the way), running around town murdering people, sometimes by shooting them in the back, would bother most people...if not at first, I think it would eventually.<BR><BR>When Deckard first joined the squad, he may have had a bit more enthusiasm for the job. He might have even earned a reputation as a real bada$$ assassin of replicants, but years of murdering beings whose primary crime is living would wear a man (synthetic or otherwise) down.<BR><BR>Also, perhaps Deckard was motivated by something other than love of his work: fear, perhaps?
