Fan Anthology

I think it would be a good idea if we pooled together our own fiction works
based on BR and create a BR Anthology using the best of the best, maybe
even get it published if any one has the right connections.

what do you mean anthology? i have a tech-maual prject going, and its pretty far (oh yeah, i have to post my works on my new website )

In layman's terms an anthology is a collection of works created by different authors around the same theme, concept, or idea.

But its also the crecopilation of the very best works of one author. Like the "Greatest hits" albums in music.

The board members on the Bendis board started this kinda thing too.

It was this book the board was putting together to benefit the CBLDF. Writers would pair with artists (all Indy, mind you) and the thing was going to be sold this summer (I forget which con).

But things ballooned, it got out of hand, and who knows if it's still in the works.

But hey, I like this idea. Great way to cultivate talent.

I'd be willing to do some artwork for a short story if ones written, i am current working on my own BR stoy but dont expect it to be done for a few years. rendering time is a nightmare.

Also i've done the anthology thing before, its as much fun as it is a headache, but always surprising. i recall once reading in some comics journal that two of the worst things to do were black and white and anthologys, but i still like them, look at the online matrix comics. its just the matter of getting a real strong foundation and deadline together.

Anthology... There's quite alot fans (of BR) , And I'm sure everbody would want an equal say in what goes in an all...

I actually quite like the idea. Dont know if its possible though.

How about we get an editing council together and have them decide and
put together the rules?
In the mean time, I'll start writing.

Excuse me? I thought this was a forum. In a forum one expects people to comment about what one posts. When I posted in this topic, I didn't even realized it was you who I replied to previously in other thread. As for correcting you, I didn't correct you in this thread! When did I say that what you said was wrong? I just saw someone asking "What's an anthology?" and someone who gave an answer that was incomplete (IMO), so I completed it. It is what forums are about!

And the one who seems to be offended is you, and I don't know why. Don't take it as if I want to annoy you... But of course, if you want, I will never reply again to anything posted by you... I wouldn't like it like that, though...
